UPDATE: We've begun our conversation about Columbus and the students shared some fabulous thinking. We've got a couple of great resources we'll be accessing. Today they shared what they KNEW about Columbus already and what they LEARNED about Columbus through two medias: 1. Brainpop video on Christopher Columbus, and 2. DOGO article on Columbus Day being changed by many to Indigenous People's Day. Upcoming article: CREEPY COLUMBUS! Who knew?!
