- Read aloud some great books on the topic of Being "EWE". We read Woolbur, Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon which talk about the importance of being yourself and celebrating your uniqueness. (We read Sweety yesterday, which was also a great tie-in here!!)
- Explored the reading corner (The Good Little Book was used to introduce the fabulousness of reading and the power of a good book). Our students already explored some of the classroom library and found some books they were interested in reading.
- Took a tour of the new parts of the building for our morning brain break. We even saw the cool outside courtyard that had some neat benches and Ms. Casselle let us take a peek into a 4th grade classroom.
- Introduced Class Dojo, which we decided would be our way to monitor our positive behavior and any reminders we might need. (Eventually, a parent component to this will be available as well!)
