Spelling- Next 10 words in spicy sentences
Writing-TIME LINE-this was explained in class (and in newsletter) but please have your child list in order 10-15 memorable moments in your child's life (that they could write about in detail). It couldn't be their day of birth because they wouldn't remember it from their own memory. Here was my example (just listed with a rough date in order).

We got to hear a funny story called And the Dish Ran Away With the Spoon, which was a combination of Hey Diddle Diddle, other nursery rhymes, and a few run-ins with some of our favorite fairy tale stories!

We had a great time listening to an adventure story of a cockroach trying to find his place in the world. It was a great one: How the B-52 Cockroach Learned to Fly!
