Picking one activity on my timeline: Throwing up on my friend at the amusement park

Details:

·        Scrambled eggs for breakfast (this will become important later)

·        Amlings haunted house and carnival

·        Youth Group Trip

·        Adam, Roxanne, and other friends there

·        Remember: I get motionsick

·        RING OF FIRE-2 times=I did not get sick here

·        Tilt a whirl=not so lucky

o   Felt like I could go on because I was fine on the other ride

o   I don’t do well when I’m on things like merry-go-rounds where I go around in a circle

o   Felt sick

o   Knew I was going to barf

o   Waited until I couldn’t wait anymore

·        BARF!

·        Adam screamed

·        “I can’t believe that you threw up on me!”

·        They had to shut down the whole ride to clean it up

·        MEGA embarrassing!!!!

·        Still get made fun of today

Writing-TIME LINE-this was explained in class (and in newsletter) but please have your child list in order 10-15 memorable moments in your child's life (that they could write about in detail).  It couldn't be their day of birth because they wouldn't remember it from their own memory. Here was my example (just listed with a rough date in order).

We got to hear a funny story called And the Dish Ran Away With the Spoon, which was a combination of Hey Diddle Diddle, other nursery rhymes, and a few run-ins with some of our favorite fairy tale stories!

We had a great time listening to an adventure story of a cockroach trying to find his place in the world.  It was a great one: How the B-52 Cockroach Learned to Fly!
