Guest Readers:Eric Hayes and Mrs. Hayes
WE had a great time listening to Mrs. Meisinger's brother and Mom read a funny story about a boy who wants an iguana. He writes his mom letters to beg and plead, and she writes back. Eric and Mrs. Hayes buddy read for us and we loved it!
Peace Day Pictures
We had a beautiful day on Wednesday to celebrate Peace Day. We made Pinwheels for Peach and got together with other Lincoln students to show our support of International Peace.

Buddy Reading
After our Guest Reader, we did some Buddy Reading of our own. Ronald and Meredith modeled how this works. They did a great job reading "DUCK! RABBIT!" which is a book made specifically for two voices.
Guest Readers!
We were lucky to have Mrs. Fenske as our first Guest Reader! She read "Enemy Pie," and it was a great book! Thanks Mrs. Fenske!

Spicy Sentences #1-10. (Spicy Sentences are just spelling sentences that have some detail (SOME SPICE!) to them. We're looking for more specific sentences, not just "The cat ran." Let me know if you need help. We started these together in class. If students would prefer to write a story using these words, that is also fine.
